若林厚史

Atsushi Wakabayashi is a Japanese animator, anime director, character designer and storyboard artist. He graduated from Tatsunoko Animation Technology Institute in 1989. After working at Tatsunoko, he served as animation director on such shows as " Yu Yu Hakusho " and " Midori no Makibao " in the 1990s , mainly supporting the animation of Studio Pierrot 's works. He attracted major attention for directing episodes 30, 71, and 133 of " Naruto" . Since then, he has expanded his work to other companies' productions, but most of his involvement is in basic storyboarding only. His nickname on set is "Kaba-san." Since 2013, he has also been a guest lecturer at NUNOANI Juku.
