Born a fisherman's daughter, Onuma Akiho grew up surrounded by nature until she moved to Tokyo in order to attend a bridal vocational school; the reasoning being that she wanted to help make people happy on their marriage day. She later joined and passed Sakamichi Joint Audition, becoming a part of Sakamichi Trainee until she was assigned as another colorful addition to the group. Akiho's "dynamic movement" and unique remarks quickly showed itself and left a strong impression to both members and fans, resulting in even more candid moments during TV and radio programs.
